Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in collaborating with business stakeholders to define the project vision, scope, and requirements. You will play a key role in analyzing business needs, planning development activities, and translating requirements into actionable deliverables for the technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze project requirements from stakeholders
- Clarify and evaluate business ideas and proposed solutions
- Plan and prioritize development activities
- Validate and refine business and functional requirements
- Research business problems and propose data-driven solutions
- Define and document the expected business value for initiatives
- Draft non-functional requirements (performance, usability, reliability, etc.)
- Prepare functional specifications and translate them for the development team
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and application directors to ensure successful project delivery
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to software, hardware, and IT processes
- Analyze data related to customer behavior and business performance
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and train end users
- Prepare detailed documentation, including Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
Requirements:
- Proven experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of one or more programming/web technologies is a plus (e.g., .NET, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery)
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is preferred
- Expertise in documentation and data visualization tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Solid understanding of business structures and workflows
- Requirements engineering and process modeling expertise
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Basic understanding of networks, databases, and other technical infrastructure is a plus
